Duties & Responsibilities

The Township clerk is responsible for overseeing the official records and administrative functions of the township, ensuring transparency, compliance, and effective communication. They play a key role in supporting the township board, managing public information, and facilitating local government operations.

Note from the Clerk

There is usually someone available in my office Mon-Thurs from 9am to noon. My Deputy is Ashley Grant – yes, she is also the Park Director! As always, if you have questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to call us.

I encourage residents to attend our monthly board meetings (2 nd Monday each month at 7:30pm in the Senior Center) to see what is happening in our community. If you cannot come to the meetings, I encourage you to read my meeting minutes on this website – it’s a bit like having an updated newsletter at your fingertips.

Our annual audit went very well and the township is in very good financial shape. We are more aware than ever of every penny we spend so that we are not wasteful of our residents hard-earned tax dollars.
