About the Service

A notary public is a state-appointed official who serves as an impartial witness to the signing of important documents. To help serve the community, Berlin Township has a notary on staff.

What do I need to bring with me?

  • A government issued ID
  • All parties that are required to sign the document must be present
  • The entire document that needs to be notarized
  • Do not sign the document until you are in the presence of the notary

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are not mandatory but we highly recommend you call before you come to make sure the notary will be available
